Fairhaven Gardens

Located in South Walsham, about 40 minutes from here, are is Fairhaven Woodland and Water Gardens. A peaceful and dog friendly area which also offers short boat trips which the dogs and I particularly enjoyed. A great place whatever the weather.
Old Vicarage Gardens, East Ruston

If you’re a lover of gardens this is a must-visit. Over towards the coast, a great place to visit before a trip the beach, the Old Vicarage at East Ruston is over 30 acres of themed gardens that absorb and leave you inspired.
Bressingham Gardens

Located on the other side of Diss the Bressingham steam museum and gardens is a gentle day out and back in time. The 17 acres of gardens can be walked around on the grass paths with year round colour to admire and inspire.
Helmingham Hall

A little further away at around 45 minutes in the direction of Ipswich, sits Helmingham Hall, a private residence with a deer park and formal gardens. Beautiful in the summer but if you’re visiting during the winter we recommend visiting the light trail which is spectacular. The hall also has other events on during the year which are worth looking out for. Dogs are allowed on leads.
Gooderstone Water Gardens

If you’re willing to travel an hour, you can find the beautiful Gooderstone Water Gardens, a tranquil attraction that allows dogs, this six acre garden is a peaceful mix of plants and water.
